2026–2027 Leadership Roles

Five schoolwide roles carry the Leadership + AI plan into every classroom. Each role has a draft core responsibility, a monthly deliverable, and named key partners so support is visible, distributed, and predictable.

Special Programs Innovator

Draft Core Responsibility

Ensure leadership, digital citizenship, and AI/imagi activities are accessible and inclusive; help adapt lessons for intervention, special education, and special programs.

Monthly Deliverable

One accessibility/adaptation check or model resource for each habit window.

Student Council Lead Teacher

Draft Core Responsibility

Center student voice; coordinate Student Council, student-led assemblies, Habit 8 leadership, and the spring showcase.

Student assembly plan/script and student-leadership feedback each month.

Primary Grade Lead Teacher

Draft Core Responsibility

Calibrate TK–2 Leader in Me/Common Sense adaptations; support Grade 2 Digital Driver’s License readiness and age-appropriate evidence.

One primary-grade adaptation or exemplar for each habit.

Draft Core Responsibility

Calibrate Grades 3–6 Leader in Me/Common Sense integration; support imagi, authorship questions, Student Creation Records, source checks, and attribution.

One Grades 3–6 model project, checklist, or student exemplar for each habit.

Principal Designee

Draft Core Responsibility

Monitor pacing, facilitate implementation meetings, keep the annual plan current, and surface support needs to the Superintendent/Principal.

Monthly status update: modules, lesson completion, evidence, and next support step.
